What is SODA?
SODA is a Internet based system that will automatically backup files you select on your computers to our SODA server. The system is designed perform your scheduled backups without your intervention. This helps eliminate human error from your backup process. A backup does no good if you forget to make it.
There are 2 parts of the SODA system. The SODA Sever and the SODA Client software. The Server is where all of your backup files are stored. You can view and download these files back to your computer at anytime by simply logging into the SODA website (www.soda.blogdns.com). The SODA Client software is what is installed on your computer. This software allows you to set up schedules to backup your data to the SODA server. These Schedules are automatically run at the requested times.

Why SODA?

Why do I need an Offsite Backup?
Storing your backups at the same location as your computer does not protect you from data loss by fire, flooding, theft or vandalism. If fire or flooding destroys your office or home, chances are your backups will be destroyed also. Thieves or vandals most certainly will target your computer but may also grab or destroy your media containing your backups. Having your backups offsite reduces the chance your data can be lost by a catastrophic event. Having your data backed up automatically increase your chances of recovering from an unforeseen disaster.
